What are Access Numbers and how do I use them?

Our  Access Numbers are phone numbers that you must dial each and every time you want to place a call using your Hello Highway service.  We have access numbers all over the country and the world for you to use.  The friends and family you call across the country or across the globe can also sign up with Hello Highway voice service and call you for the same great rates!  Or, you can add your friends' and family's phone numbers as Alias Numbers and their usage can be billed right to you!

What are the rates the Talk As Long As You Like Regions?

Our top countries and regions all have a rate of 10 cents per minute, but never more than 99 cents per call.  For example, if you make a 2 minute call to one of those regions, your total cost is 20 cents.  If you make a 90 minute or 120 minute call to one of those regions, your total cost is just 99 cents.  Any calls to other countries or regions not listed on the Talk As Long As You Like Regions are at the listed per minute rate.  Please note that most of the Talk As Long As You Like Regions apply to landlines only.  Other countries and regions have the per minute rates broken down by landline and mobile.  Click here to see all rates.

How do I place a call?

To place a call, dial an  Access Number.  If you call from any of your registered or “alias” phone numbers, the Hello Highway system will recognize you and you will be able to simply dial the number you wish to reach.  If you happen to be calling from a phone that is not registered with Hello Highway or you are making your first phone call with us, you will be asked to first enter your account number.  When entering the phone number you want to call, you do not need to place a “1” in front of standard U.S. dialed numbers.  For international calling, please be sure to dial '011' in front of any international phone numbers.

You may also place a call using your speed dial program numbers.  Simply dial the speed dial number and press the # key to connect with your pre-programmed speed dial number.

What is an Alias Number and how do I update them?

Alias Numbers are phone numbers that you add to your account.  These numbers are the numbers in which your calls originate - you can add your home, office, cellphone or even a friend or family member's phone number (local or International).  Whenever you dial any Access Number from any of your Alias Numbers, Hello Highway will recognize your caller ID and you will be immediately authenticated into our system.

What is the benefit of an International Alias Number?

If you pressed the wrong key while dialing a phone number, you can press the '*' key, followed by “1” to re-enter the entire phone number again.
